You get a 10.25” touchscreen for the infotainment system. The system can be a little fiddly to operate but it includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so it doesn’t matter that you only get sat nav at Trophy level. One thing that does let the side down is the buttons below the screen that look a lot cheaper than the rest of the solid interior.
Space and comfort
The front of the MG4 EV has plenty of space. As a driver, there’s storage for personal items in the form of a large bin under the armrest, large door bins, and a decent-sized glovebox.
The rear of the MG4 EV is less spacious. Headroom and legroom are adequate but it’s difficult to get your feet under the seats in front. If there are three adults in the rear of the vehicle, there’s also an issue with shoulder space. The door bins are also smaller in the back.
The boot size of the MG4 EV isn’t bad, at 363 liters, but it’s seriously overshadowed by competitors like the Nissan Leaf. You can get extra space by folding down the rear seats to create 1,117 liters in total. Overall, the space in the vehicle is more than sufficient for the needs of most people.
