Looking to lease a Tesla Model 3? Tesla Model Y or Polestar 2? Undecided? Let's break the cars down and compare the differences between two of the UK's leading electric car manufacturers.

Should you lease a Tesla or should you lease a Polestar?

In our whole time of leasing cars, we have never seen the lease deals so good on a Tesla or a Polestar. The first thing to acknowledge is that if you are going to lease one of the cars, now is a great time, given the current in-stock special offers available.

The second thing is which car? These two rivals sit right next to each other. Whether you're looking at the Polestar 2, the Tesla Model 3, or the Tesla Model Y, it comes down to exterior looks, range, performance, and drive. All of the cars drive fantastic. The Polestar 2 does offer an awesome drive with added comfort. Again, the Model Y and Model 3 are great to drive.

The Model Y sits slightly better on the drive, given its technology and spacious interior, whereas the Polestar 2 delivers high-level comfort options. Speed-wise, the Tesla wins. You would have to upgrade the Polestar to the dual motors or one of the performance models, whereas the standard Teslas come loaded with performance.

All in all, both brands deliver an outstanding drive and range, and are a great choice of EV car.
